My blog is progressing amazingly! The traffic feed shows visits from around the world!! Unbelievable. I got my Etsy store up and going this week (Flair and Frills) and made an incredible design team (Faith Sisters)! So-in honor of new found blog friends, my continuing pursuit of scrap fame, and the spirit of Christmas - I have a gift for you! Is there anything better to receive at Christmas than scrapbook supplies (other than diamond stud earrings and a Dyson vacuum)?! I think not! So here's my proposal-share with me (in my comments) your favorite Christmas memory, specifically related to the spirit of giving, and I will send you a box full of brand new goodies, including acrylic stamps, fiber/ribbon, distress stickles, and lots of other fun stuff it would take too long to mention! You have until Christmas Eve, at which time I will draw a name from those applicable and announce the name of the luck lady on Christmas Day!!!

Wowwwwwwwww...what a WONDERFUL thing for U to do..... :):):):):):):):):):):)
Ok...here is my story! :):):):):)
When I was a teenager, I was attacked and had a son as a result of that attack. He was born on Christmas Day.....when I found out I was having a baby, I knew that given my circumstances, I could not care for him at my age. I gave him up for adoption. I was very fortunate in being able to chose an open adoption and chose the family that he was to live with.... He will be 19 this year.... On Christmas Day, my family has a birthday cake.....to not only celebrate Jesus's Birthday but also my birth son's Birthday! :):):):):):):):):):)
Thanks for letting me share! :):):):):):):)
So glad you were inspired by my banner. Yours is lovely!!
Well, wow... I have alot of awesome Christmas memories to share. Hmmm which one do I pick.... Well,,,my fondest is the year my daughter Savannah was saved. She was saved at a Fall Party at a local church on halloween. She six years old. As Christmas time grew closer, my dad would call her or she would call him and they would sing Chrismas carols to each other. During one of those calls, my dad asked Savannah what santa was going to bring her,,and much to all our surprise,, she proudly said,,"Papa, I don't need anything for Christmas, I have Jesus now!!" My dad and I both cried at her innocent knowledge...
Love and miss ya,
Gina
I too have lots of Christmas memories to share. I think my favorite Christmas memory will be THIS Christmas as we get ready to celebrate the Season and try to accept that this will probably be our last Christmas with my 64 year old Mom. She has pancreatic cancer. Christmas this year will be very bittersweet as we strive to make the most out of the time we have together.....enjoying each other. Just 'being' together this one last Christmas makes a person realize how lucky we all are to have people that we love with us.
